About This Course

SANN started B.Sc. Biotechnology, a 4 years Bachelor’s degree program in 2005 A.D. with an objective of producing capable human resource in science and technology particularly in carrying out researches on plant biotechnology, medical biotechnology, bioengineering and genetics as the specialization area in biotechnology.

We are pleased to have a great attraction of students in this program since its inception. This program has been the center of attraction of students after +2. A number of B.Sc. Biotechnology graduates have been able to get full scholarships for Masters and Ph.D. programs in reputed universities around the world.

I feel pleasure to inform here that our students have been able to get gold medal (university topper) for three times.

Our students research and study works have been able to get funds for further researches from government and non- government sectors. Our students provided necessary help as the expert to the government to establish PCR lab and training during the Covid-19.

Some of our students are running biotechnology related industries with in the country. Some others are working in the reputed lab around the globe. I welcome grade 12 graduates from science at SANN in B. Sc. Boitechnology program as it is the most demanded subject worldwide.

The Candidate must have passed +2 Science / A level / Diploma or Equivalent (with physics, Chemistry, Biology and English) from any recognized University with minimum 50% marks or CGPA 2.0 in aggregate.

Admission Procedure

• Admission are done once a year by following rules and guidance of Purbanchal Universitiy.
• Admissions are determined solely by the results of the conducted personnel interview and entrance exam.
• Form must be turned in to the admissions officer within the allotted time, along with the necessary paperwork and the applicable fees.
• The administrative staff reviews and registers the properly completed admission form, and then the candidates will need to show up for a common entrance exam.
• An oral interview with a panel of examiners will ultimately determine which of the candidates who made the admission examination short list will be enrolled.
